Employee training: Data security briefing at INRO

INRO attaches great importance to the protection of personal data.

We take the task seriously.

Data protection has long been an important issue. Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data dates back to 1995.

This was replaced by the DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation), which came into force in 2016 and has been directly applicable since 2018. The DSGVO has brought with it a number of innovations. Together with the German Federal Data Protection Act, it represents the primarily applicable law for us in this area. All in all, this is not a trivial matter.

In order to ensure the DSGVO-compliant processing of personal data in our company and to avoid data protection violations, we have conducted extensive data protection training for our employees under the direction of our external data protection officer.

In order to be able to guarantee a pandemic-compatible procedure, the dates were organised as a hybrid event. Many participants were connected via video conference tool from their home offices or from adjoining rooms.

We would like to thank our external data protection officer Jürgen Schuler from SiCom AG for his professional support.
