The INRO 2024 technician project
Recently, two students from the Aschaffenburg technical school were once again at INRO for a practical assignment as part of a two-week project phase. The topic of Tony and Moritz's work was ‘Automated assembly of a printed circuit board using a 6-axis robot’.
To this end, the two engineering students first created a suitable holding device for the circuit boards and capacitors. This was followed by the design of an adaptation to hold the THT components. The project was then finalised with the implementation of the placement process using the 6-axis robot. The picture shows Tony working on and optimising the robot's placement process:
The technician project has been taking place at INRO in collaboration with the municipal technical college (technical school) for electrical engineering in Aschaffenburg since 2014, which means it has been running for 10 years. The practical work is part of the 2-year training programme to become a state-certified electrical engineer.
We are always delighted to welcome the technical college students who complete their practical phase with exciting projects with us and are happy to offer our support. All current or future students of the technical school are welcome to contact our HR department (work@inro-et.de) if they are interested in a practical project with INRO.
